Why subscribe to coffee roasted at origin?
Most specialty coffee is exported green and roasted months later abroad. Spirit Origin roasts on a Probat in Roatán, days from the farms, then nitrogen-seals every bag with a one-way degas valve — so each subscription delivery arrives fresh from origin, not from a warehouse. Every lot is traceable to its producer, third-party tested for mycotoxins, pesticides, and herbicides, and packaged in certified home-compostable bags. Roasting at origin also keeps more of the value in Honduras, with the producing community.
