KATHYA IRIAS

Born and raised in Honduras, I grew up deeply connected to the land, learning to plant and harvest alongside my parents. More importantly, I learned to respect and serve those who dedicate their lives to cultivating it. Agronomy is one of the most demanding and undervalued professions in my country, a reality I came to understand while sharing home-grown coffee with local farmers and listening to the challenges they face.

Twenty years later, I founded Spirit Origin Coffee to use my business experience to support small-scale producers, experts who have spent generations nurturing coffee at its purest. By sharing the vitality of these exceptional coffees with the world, we can return value more fairly to the communities that produce them.

Why coffee? Because more than 20% of Honduras’s population depends on it, over 100,000 families whose livelihoods can be strengthened through a more sustainable and transparent industry.

From Honduran soil to your cup, my purpose is to share coffee in a way that honors origin and gives back to the people who grow it.

PAUL GROMEK

Seeking a new challenge and the opportunity to build a purpose-driven business, I began a new path. Ever since I can remember, I have appreciated a truly exceptional cup of coffee. While visiting Honduras, I was amazed and inspired by the extraordinary quality of its coffee.

Over the following years, I traveled extensively throughout Latin America, visiting coffee farms, learning directly from producers, and seeking to understand what truly defines the perfect cup. I realized there was tremendous untapped potential to share the pure expression of coffee through specialty-grade beans, still largely unknown in Western markets.

This realization led me to create a company dedicated to delivering only the finest and most authentic coffees. During one of these journeys, my friend Kathya and I decided to join forces, united by a shared vision: to bring exceptional specialty coffee to the world while making it accessible and honoring the people and origin behind it.

The Taste Connection

From the moment coffee is grown to how it's processed, each step leaves its mark on flavor. This is where origin becomes experience.
